DRM 2019 Year in Review
2019 was an awesome year for client relationships, creativity and our growing DRM family! Not only did we have the opportunity to create some of our best work yet – we’ve also gotten to know several new clients, and welcomed two key members to our team! With the new decade just revving up, let’s take a moment (while we still have one) to reflect on some of our favorite moments of 2019!
January
ATC API Branding and Landing Page – Auto Titling Corporate
Automotive Titling Corporation is a longtime client of DRM who helps power out-of-state auto titling for customers across all 50 states. When looking to promote their new API service, they came to DRM for help. We came up with a comprehensive branding and marketing strategy including a new logo, tagline, explainer video, landing page and digital display campaign.
Interview with the Indians’ Trevor Bauer – High Voltage Karting
As part of the new “Tim on the Track” video series that DRM produced for High Voltage Indoor Karting, we had a rare opportunity to film an interview with Cleveland Indians’ pitcher, Trevor Bauer. High Voltage partnered with Bauer for his Outage Outpost t-shirt event so DRM took the opportunity to get some photos and video! Director.

Re-Branding and Label Refresh – Bertman Original Ball Park Mustard
Not only is Bertman Original Ball Park Mustard an iconic Cleveland brand they are also the oldest existing partner of the Cleveland Indians. When the Indians’ mandated that all licensees stop using the Chief Wahoo, Bertman saw this as an opportunity to refresh their brand. DRM helped create a full rebrand along with a press release and updated labels for their ballpark mustard, Great Lakes beer mustard and horseradish sauce. It was truly an honor to work on a brand that hasn’t been updated in over 100 years!
New Website – Pier W
One of Cleveland’s premier seafood restaurants, Pier W, was looking to update their website with a more minimalist style. DRM had the opportunity to create this new and improved site.

Rebranding and Website Refresh – Chickmaster
Chick Master is one of the world’s leading companies in technology for poultry hatcheries. In 2019, DRM did a full re-brand for Chick Master including a new logo, tagline and re-vamped website.
Rebrand and New Website – Cleveland Menu
Cleveland Menu has been one of the country’s premier printers of specialty menus for the hospitality industry since 1930. In 2019, DRM worked with Cleveland Menu to launch a new website which included a new logo, copywriting, photography and more.
April
Verantis – FanGuard® Creative Development
In April, DRM launched new creative for Verantis Environmental Solutions Group’s new fan monitoring system called FanGuard®. To creatively explain for the system works, DRM invented the character of Captain FANtastic. This campaign included branding, a landing page and a downloadable comic book that leads can download after filling out a form.
High Voltage Karting – Ashley Z Interview
In an effort to expand their customer base, High Voltage Karting invited 96.5 KISS-FM’s Ashley Z to their facility for an event. DRM filmed a promo video with the radio personality to help encourage young ladies to try out high-speed go-kart racing at high voltage!
DRM Participates in Walk MS 2019
Walk MS is an annual charity walk that benefits the National MS Society. Team DRM participates in Walk MS every year but 2019 was our biggest year yet! Thanks to the generous donations from our friends and colleagues, we were able to raise $725 which puts us on the list of the top 50 teams for the year!

DRM Celebrates Fifth Anniversary
This year, DRM was excited to celebrate our fifth anniversary! Although we came from humble beginnings, we now have a team of five full-time employees. This was the biggest year for DRM by far and we look forward to seeing what our sixth year has in-store!
Melt Cedar Point Window Graphics
Back in 2017, Melt Bar and Grilled opened its ninth full-service location inside one of the world’s most popular amusement parks! To help promote their menu to passersby, DRM created a series of promotional graphics that adhered to the windows of the restaurant.
Jergens Video Series
Jergens, Inc. is a juggernaut in the manufacturing sector and creates many different lines of products including workholding solutions, specialty fasteners, hoist strings and lifting products. To promote a variety of products, DRM shot and edited a series of videos that can be seen over on their Youtube channel.

Dallas Riffle speaks at CDPUG panel
DRM’s Founder/Creative Director Dallas Riffle was asked to speak on a panel once again by our friends over at CDPUG. This event focused on User Interface (UI) Design and was held at Lean Dog in Cleveland.
Melt Ballpark Graphics
Cedar Point wasn’t the only Ohio landmark where DRM got an opportunity to display our work this year! We also got a chance to re-design the graphics for the revamped Melt Ballpark stand at Progressive Field. Go tribe!

Foundry Social Announced
While High Voltage Karting occupied part of an old foundry building in Medina, the indoor racetrack only uses a small portion of the available space. The owners of High Voltage looked to change this with the announcement of Foundry Social, a 30,000-square-foot entertainment complex outfitted with a selection of games, food and drinks. DRM was brought in to craft the press release originally announcing the project along with help with branding, copywriting, social media support and more.
Local West Food Photoshoot
This Summer, DRM had an awesome food photography shoot with Cleveland restaurant, Local West.
Megan Ondich Joins the Team as Marketing Specialist!
This Summer, DRM’s digital marketing team welcomed Megan Ondich who joined the team as our new marketing specialist. Megan helps the team with social media management, managing digital advertising campaigns, project management and more.

High Voltage Karting – Matt Tifft Interview
When Nascar racer Matt Tifft came to High Voltage Karting to race the winner of their WONE Race Night competition, DRM had the opportunity to film an interview video with Mr. Tifft himself.
Melt Bar and Grilled – Vegan Mac & Cheese Photoshoot
After introducing their new selection of “Maniacal Macaroni & Cheese”, a vegan version was highly requested at Melt Bar and Grilled for a long time. After this was finally made a reality, DRM did a photoshoot to show off that vegan cheese was just as appetizing as real cheese!

Sacred Hour Wellness Spa Website
The award-winning Sacred Hour Wellness Spa was looking to revamp their website to help bring their unique ascetic across digitally. DRM launched this new website in September of 2019!
PPG 2020 Platinum Distributor Calendar
In 2019, DRM once again partnered with our friends at Proforma to create the 2020 PPG Platinum Distributor calendar. For the fourth year in a row, DRM sourced photographers local to each car that was to be featured in each calendar and then put the best shots together into a calendar that is sent out to each of the paint company’s platinum distributors.
Melt 20% Off Coupon Promotion
To help drive traffic in the slower months of 2019, DRM created a comprehensive digital marketing campaign powered by marketing automation platform, SharpSpring. The campaign used ads through Facebook, Google Ads, Yelp and the Spectrum display network that pointed users to a landing page with a form. When the form was filled out, they would receive an email with a 20% off coupon. This campaign ran throughout September and October and saw great success.

Verantis ChemShow Booth
The Chem Show in New York is one of the largest trade shows for engineers and plant managers in the US. Verantis worked with DRM to create all of the collateral for this year’s show including unique branding, booth graphics, promotion items, a landing page, email campaign and more.
Melt Bar and Grilled – Making of the Parmageddon Video
As part of Melt Bar and Grilled’s ‘Matt on the Street’ video series, DRM created a behind-the-scenes video about the making of one of their favorite cold-weather sandwiches, the Parmageddon.
DRM becomes Gold Certified Partner w/ Constant Contact
Earlier in 2019, we added marketing automation to our list of services with the introduction of a new partnership with Constant Contact. After going through a lengthy certification process, we announced our new Gold Partnership status in October.
November
Keystone Technology Consultants – SARGE Campaign
The SARGE campaign was created to help grow Keystone Technology Consultants’ business continuity services. This initial creative consisted of a photoshoot, landing page and email automation campaign powered by SharpSpring. We’re going to be further expanding this initiative in 2020 so stay tuned!
Foundry Social – Website / Soft Open Collateral
After many months of preparation, Foundry Social finally opened in November of this year. Along with creating a website for Foundry Social, DRM helped to create numerous pieces of collateral for the soft launch and grand opening including signage, lanyards, menu inserts and more.

Lakewood Community Services Center – “Lakewood Focus Experiment” Campaign
To help highlight several issues within the city of Lakewood, DRM worked with the Lakewood Community Services Center to create the “Lakewood Focus Experiment” campaign. This combined a video including interviews with many notable Lakewood figures as well as a series of emails and social media posts throughout the month of December.
