DRM 2017 Year in Review

As the holidays quickly approach, it’s hard to believe that 2017 is actually drawing to a close. It’s been a landmark year here at DRM and we’re very grateful for all of the growth we’ve experienced! Let’s take a moment to reflect on the current year before we finally turn our attention to 2018. Below we’ll feature a few highlights from 2017, including some of our favorite projects…

If you live in Ohio, chances are that you’ve eaten at Melt Bar and Grilled. Melt is well-known for their unique take on the grilled cheese sandwich and have become Ohio’s premier destination for comfort food, craft beer and signature cocktails. DRM has had the honor of building a strong partnership with Melt for the past several years. In 2016, DRM launched Melt’s brand new website, initiated a full brand refresh and had a lot of fun creating the 2016 Meltidential Election.

Moving into 2017, Melt experienced explosive growth with the opening of no less than four new locations in Dayton, Avon, Canton and Cedar Point. DRM managed the public-facing aspects of each new location launch, from announcement through opening day, while concurrently heading up efforts to evolve and strengthen the brand in its existing markets. We produced a brand new commercial and mini-documentary titled, “The Craft Food Philosophy” that debuted both online and statewide on cable and network television. DRM also began the year by taking the helm of all of Melt’s social media accounts, creating fresh content for Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. In addition to Melt Bar and Grilled, DRM has begun working with another iconic Cleveland food brand in 2017! Since the 1920s, Bertman Original Ball Park Mustard has been an integral part of Cleveland culture. Not only is Bertman Cleveland’s original spicy brown mustard but it’s also the official mustard of the Cleveland Indians! Bertman brought DRM onboard during the middle of this year to help them begin to expand this legacy brand into new markets and applications. DRM has since worked with Bertman to take steps toward relaunching their digital advertising and social media efforts. We have also helped Bertman launch a new initiative called ‘Just A Bit Outside the Bun’. This initiative collects recipes from fans and well-known Cleveland area personalities using various Bertman products in fun and creative ways. Though our relationship with Bertman is new, we look forward to working with them well into the future!

But that’s not all, folks! DRM has been busy on several other fronts as well. We were once again tasked with creating the yearly Platinum Distributor Calendar for PPG. We also developed and launched new websites for Sound Advice Financial and the Americare Kidney Institute along with a slew of fun projects for existing clients such as Verantis, Jergens, High Voltage Indoor Karting and Auto Titling Corporation. DRM is also fostering new relationships heading into 2018 with clients such as Cleveland Menu Printing, Slater Tools, Silent Call Communications and more! In addition to working with an excellent group of clients, we’ve also invited a new member to our own team this year. We are happy to welcome our new project manager, Anthony Travagliante!

This year has been one of the best years for DRM yet and we can’t thank everyone enough for their support. We are truly thankful to be able to work with so many great brands… and more importantly to build strong relationships with the people behind those brands. We hope that we can continue to grow throughout 2018 and beyond, providing both awesome work and the best possible service to each and every client that trusts us with their brand.
