Webinar Recap: From Likes to Leads—How to Turn Your Social Media into a Growth Engine

We recently had the opportunity to present a webinar titled “From Likes to Leads: Turning Social Media into a Growth Engine for Your Brand.” Thanks to the incredible team at JumpStart for hosting us and to all the attendees who tuned in!

Why We Held This Webinar

Our agency has always believed in the power of marketing to connect brands with their customers. Over the years, we’ve honed strategies that help businesses—from small startups to established enterprises—stand out on social media. We wanted to share these insights with entrepreneurs who are looking to convert social media engagement into real-world growth, leads, and sales.

Webinar Highlights

Attendees learned a variety of actionable tips and strategies aimed at making social media less intimidating and more results-oriented. The presentation centered around four key concepts:

Creating Content with a Purpose

We discussed how content isn’t just about “posting to post.” By aligning every update, image, or video with a specific goal—brand awareness, lead generation, or direct sales—you ensure your audience not only sees you but understands why you matter. Attendees appreciated our step-by-step guidance on harnessing engagement to spark meaningful conversations and remain top-of-mind.

Practical Tips for Setting Up Your First Social Media Ads

Understanding the differences between organic posts and ads can be confusing, so we broke down the basics: campaign objectives, targeting strategies, and budget allocations. From choosing a simple goal (like page likes or website clicks) to creating compelling visuals that stop the scroll, we covered the fundamentals that help turn a small ad budget into big results.

Allocating a Small Budget Effectively

Managing a lean budget doesn’t mean settling for lackluster results. We introduced the 80/20 rule, originally proposed by Italian economist Vilfredo Pareto, which suggests dedicating 80% of resources to proven tactics and 20% to experiments. Plus, we shared ways to test new platforms, leverage remarketing, and focus on the channels that truly deliver.

Measuring What Matters in Your Social Media Performance

Finally, we dove into key performance indicators (KPIs), including engagement rates, click-through rates, conversions, and even customer acquisition costs. Using tools like the Meta Pixel or Google Analytics, entrepreneurs can track their progress and determine exactly where their marketing dollars are working hardest.

If you missed the webinar or want to learn more, stay tuned. We’ll be sharing additional resources and possibly hosting more in-depth sessions on these topics soon. In the meantime, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at DRM for personalized advice on taking your social media presence to the next level.

Thank you once again to JumpStart for giving us the platform to present and to every entrepreneur who took the time to attend. We hope our tips help you transform your social media channels into powerful growth engines.
